Buffs Beat Huskies, 78-64, For Tad Boyle's 300th Career Win

Sunday, the Colorado Buffaloes kept winning and head coach Tad Boyle made some history in the process.

The Buffs defeated the Washington Huskies, 78-64, and gave Coach Boyle his 300th career victory. Boyle has won 244 games as head coach of the Buffs, second in program history.

Forward Tristan da Silva led the Buffs with 22 points and added six rebounds. Guard Julian Hammond III chipped in 14 points in only 12 minutes, going 4-4 from three-point range. Forward Jabari Walker had another double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

CU is 11-3, 2-1 in Pac-12 play.

Colorado took a 39-28 lead at halftime, thanks to a 15-27 performance from the field.

The Huskies got within 48-43 with 12:23 left but the Buffs pulled away with an 11-2 run to push the lead back into double figures for the rest of the way.

Boyle's overall record is 300-212 as the head coach at Colorado and Northern Colorado. His Buffs teams are 244-146 and Boyle is second in CU history with the 244 victories. He needs 17 wins to tie Russell "Sox" Walseth's school record 261 wins.
