CU Gets By Brown, 54-52

Once again it wasn't easy but the Buffs will take the W.

Trailing by as many as eight points in the first half and down by six at halftime, the Colorado Buffaloes rallied in the second half and defeated the Brown Bears, 54-52, to claim fourth place in the Paradise Jam tournament in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Buffs were down 37-30 with 14:34 to go before putting together a 9-0 run to go up 41-39 on Keyshawn Barthelemy's lay-up.

From there, the teams were tied at 42, 44 and 46 before the Buffs took the lead for good on Evan Battey's lay-up at the 1:08 mark to give CU a 51-50 lead.

Battey finished with a team-high 16 points. Jabari Walker had another double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

The Buffs finish 2-1 and in fourth place in the tournament.
