The Colorado Buffaloes led throughout the game an hung on to defeat the Air Force Falcons, 58-53, Sunday in Colorado Springs.
The Buffs jumped into the lead, 17-13 after one quarter, 30-24 at halftime and 46-36 after three quarters.
But Air Force battled back in the fourth quarter, getting to within 51-50 before CU's Jaylyn Sherrod hit a three-pointer with 1:59 left to make it 54-50.
The Buffs hung on from there and get to 2-0 this season. Air Force is 1-1.
