They battled. They fought. They simply fell a bit short.

The Colorado Buffaloes lost to the top-seeded Arizona Wildcats, 83-67, Thursday night in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas.

It didn't help the Buffs' cause that star guard McKinley Wright left the game in the second half with an ankle injury.

George King led Colorado with 19 points. Lucas Siewart added 16.

The Buffs finish the season with a 17-15 record. They await a possible berth in the NIT.
