#9 UCLA Hangs On To Beat CU, 71-65

Not quite enough.

Saturday night, the Colorado Buffaloes nearly came all the back from a 17-point deficit in a 71-65 loss to the 9th-ranked UCLA Bruins at the CU Events Center.

The Buffs trailed 43-28 at halftime and then were down 47-30 with 17:38 to go in the game.

Over the next 15:44, the Buffs outscored the Bruins 31-15 to get within 62-61 wit 1:54 remaining.

But that would be as close as CU would get.

Jabari Walker led CU with 19 points and seven rebounds. Evan Battey tossed in 15 points.

Colorado is now 12-6 overall, 4-4 in the Pac-12. UCLA is 13-2, 5-1.
