#23 CSU Thumps Air Force, 73-53

The beat goes on for the 23rd-ranked Colorado State Rams.

Saturday, the Rams pulled away from Air Force late in the first half and went on to a 73-53 win at Clune Arena in Colorado Springs.

CSU reeled off a 15-2 run over the final 5:38 of the first half and led at the break, 31-17. From there, the Rams were able to put the Falcons away, outscoring them 42-36 in the second half.

Rams guard Isaiah Stevens had 18 points. Forward David Roddy added 14 points and 10 rebounds. Guard John Tonje had 15 points.

CSU is off to its best 16-game start ever. The Rams are 15-1, 5-1 in the Mountain West Conference. Air Force is 9-8, 2-4 in league play.
