A third Colorado child is dead after getting hit with the flu this season. State health officials say the latest juvenile victim was from the Denver-metro area and died earlier this month. This season, more than three-thousand people across the state have been hospitalized with the illness. The CDC says the virus can remain active into May, but the season usually peaks from December through February.
