Club 20 says a surrogate for Polis isn't good enough

The Western slope group Club 20 won't allow Congressman Jared Polis to send Lieutenant Governor Donna Lynn to their Gubernatorial Debate on September 8th.  Polis wanted to send Lynn as a surrogate since he has a conflict on that day.  Club 20 said it's the first time in 30 years that a gubernatorial candidate has turned down their debate and a surrogate isn't good enough. The director of Club 20 said they can't allow the candidate to send someone in their stead when the debate has been scheduled more than a year in advance.
