More big names are leaving the Denver Post. Post reporters have disclosed that former owner Dean Singleton is stepping down as chairman. Also, two senior editors are leaving: Dana Coffield and Larry Ryckman. The resignations come just a few days after editorial page editor Chuck Plunkett left the paper. A Post editorial early last month accused the paper's owner, hedge-fund Alden Global Capital, of a lack of commitment to news. The Post has laid off more than half of its staff in recent years. Singleton owned the Post from 1987 until 2013.
