Protest Over Culling of Geese in Washington Park

Goose culling protest

Dozens of protesters turnout in Denver's Washington Park to voice their displeasure over the city's decision to cull geese from Washington Park. Organizers of the Canada Geese Protection Group say the city could have used more humane methods to reduce the number of geese in the park. They say the culling of geese won't solve the problem next year and they feel the City of Denver's Parks and Recreation Department was not transparent about the plan. Some residents have complained about so much goose poop in the park.
