WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AI REPLACES HUMANS? I've got a guest today who is sounding the alarm, and as an AI innovator himself I think we would do well to pay attention. Faisal Hoque is an AI innovator and Technologist and author of Transcend: Unlocking Humanity in the Age of AI (Post Hill Press), warns that if we keep going at this rate, we'll create a jobless society and may self-destruct if we aren't careful. He joins me at 2 to talk about it. Find more about him and his book by clicking here.

A NATIONAL RIGHT TO WORK BILL HAS BEEN FILED And I've got National Right to Work Committee President Mark Mix on at 2:30 to discuss what the bill would do and why it's important to get it done. Follow the Committee on X here.

JEFFCO SCHOOLS IS ON THE HOTSEAT And boy howdy JeffCo parents, you all owe Lindsay Datko and the people from JeffCo Kids First a HUGE thank you for continuing to be dogged in uncovering the District's malfeasance that allows predators to roam the halls of JeffCo schools. At the most recent school board meeting Datko tried to share all the details of the many, many instances of adults sexually preying on children. The school board reacted in typical fashion as Lindsay tweeted this out:

The Denver Gazette reported on the meeting and many of the instances Datko was referring to here. The leadership of this district has shown time and time again they think PARENTS are the PROBLEM. If JeffCo Schools doesn't have a significant change on the board this year they are done for.

REP LAUREN BOEBERT CALLS FOR BONDI TO LOOK INTO COLORADO'S NEW GUN LAW Check this out:

What task force is she referring to? Read this:

We'll see if Bondi takes Boebert up on it, but good on the Congresswoman for making sure the DoJ knows about this garbage bill that so-called libertarian Jared Polis just signed into law. Perhaps if we organized an email campaign to AG Pam Bondi it would inspire her to start here? There is a form to fill out on the Department of Justice website if you're so inclined here.

DOWNTOWN DENVER HAS A SERIOUS IMAGE PROBLEM And IF ONLY the Mayor had come on my show so I could have implored him to work on security and safety FIRST. But he chose to ignore his campaign promise he made on the show when running. Now, new surveys show that downtown's reputation has fallen even further over the last year. Check this bit:

Gensler surveyed 500 people in Denver — from local visitors to residents and office workers — between September and October to gauge how downtowns across the country are performing.
...
About 55% of respondents said they agree downtown Denver offers a great experience, down from 73% in 2023. For the rest, 34% said they feel neutral and 11% said they disagree.

That is a HUGE drop. The full survey results aren't out yet, but this part isn't good news for tourism:

Answers also varied across the different types of people who go downtown, Gabrill explained.
Residents in the city core and office workers are more likely to have positive views, while visitors had the lowest.

We'll see what happens next.

MICHAEL BENNET IS RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR and I'm just going to say it, he's going to be really, really tough to beat. He's going to make an announcement today and hopefully we can get him on the show soon to talk about it. As far as Democrat nominees go, there are far worse options than Bennet, and I know you guys won't believe me on that, but it's true. He is a reliable left winger, but not a crazy left winger. The question for me is whether or not he will stand up to the Progressive wing of his party who have over regulated our state to death.

WILL POLIS VETO THE LATEST SANCTUARY STATE BILL? This editorial says he must but will he? He just signed that crap gun bill into law so he is either lying about being a libertarian or afraid of the gun grabber money going against him in the primary. I have no confidence he will do what the people want on illegal immigration. That being said, he's seen the polling data on this too.

THE DEMOCRATS STUPID ATTACK ON TABOR AND WHY IT WILL FAIL Leave it to Rob Natelson to do a deep dive on the idiotic lawsuit that Democrats just voted to fund with our taxpayer dollars to attack one of the most popular things in Colorado, the Taxpayers Bill of Rights. He's got bullet points to demonstrate how bad this whole thing really is. I'm hoping he's going to right an amicus brief because I certainly don't trust the Democrats in the AG's office to offer a vigorous defense on our behalf.

BEARS ARE WAKING UP SO LOCK YOUR CAR Because the last thing you need to do is have to explain that you were late because a bear got into your car looking for food and destroyed it. It happened here.

WHY WAS THIS GUY OUT ON THE STREETS? Aurora PD have arrested a criminal menace who has racked up a bunch of gun crime arrests at the ripe old age of 18. His latest arrest came after he opened fire on a group of guys filming a music video in a random attack. Read this part and someone explain it to me:

Jackson was convicted of possession of a weapon by a previous juvenile offender in a case from 2023, for which he is serving a two-year parole sentence from the Colorado Division of Youth Services.
“In the last six months, Jackson has been arrested twice for possession of a converted automatic handgun. He was on parole during both arrests,” the police department said.
In October 2024, Aurora police arrested Jackson in connection to a carjacking that happened hours before his 18th birthday. He is the active defendant charged with attempted first-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder, among other charges, in the Arapahoe District Court.
Police said he posted an $80,000 bond in that case and was free on bond at the time of the drive-by shooting.

He's been given a $250,000 bond this time, but why is he even getting bond in the first place??? This is insane. I will be my next six paychecks he did NOT buy his firearms legally, proving that the Colorado legislature isn't doing ANYTHING to actually stop gun crime. He should be held without bond, period. Good for Aurora PD for shining a spotlight on this, I hope every law enforcement agency starts doing this so people realize how easy Democrats have made crime in Colorado.

WHAT'S IN OUR BLOATED STATE BUDGET? Don't fall for the line that Colorado had a massive budget shortfall. Colorado has a massive overspending problem. This years "bare bones" budget still found more money for Medicaid, but heed the warnings of Joint Budget Committee member Barb Kirkmeyer, who says because they refuse to cut spending there will be an even bigger mess next year.

SIX STOLEN BASES WITHOUT A HIT I love this kind of random story about a player doing something crazy and this fits. A minor league ballplayer stole six bases in a game without notching a hit. It isn't the first time he's had six stolen bases in a game, but the other time he had one hit.

ELITCH'S OPEN APRIL 19TH And they are planning their longest season yet. Read more here.

TGIF EREBODY! You really should read Nellie Bowles weekly column here.

KANYE WEST TRYING TO CLAW BACK RELEVANCY Which is the only explanation for why he is now blaming Taylor Swift as the person responsible for him never performing at the Super Bowl. Swift couldn't be reached for comment because she doesn't care.

LEBRON JAMES IS A KEN DOLL NOW And good for him, now he can have his head removed by angry toddlers too. It's part of Barbie's Kenbassadors program that will immortalize men as dolls. Finally someone new for Barbie to date.

KEVIN O'LEARY IS ALL IN ON CHINESE TARIFFS And you can watch him here or below.

JUSTIN BEIBER DOESN'T LOVE THE PAPS And I can't blame him. This is another reason I don't want to be super famous ever. Watch below or click here.
