TGIF Blogcast: Syria, Iran, etc; Climate honesty; Biden's pardons; Hegseth

This is the best thing I've seen in a while

I note that there are online trolls claiming this is staged. The burden of proof is on them and until they prove it, I won't believe them, and they'll never prove it.

Just One Thing: Biden's pardon spree - might not have been cover but hard not to wonder

This might be slightly too cynical, but only slightly: On Wednesday, President Joe Biden pardoned 39 Americans convicted of non-violent federal crimes and commuted the sentences of almost 1,500 others. It is certainly the biggest number of pardons and commutations in a single day in American history and includes individuals who served sentences and then turned their lives around, such as one guy who earned a degree and then served in both the Army and the Air Force. It also includes a broad categorical pardon for people convicted of simple use and possession of marijuana and to gay former military members convicted of “private conduct because of their sexual orientation.” It’s hard not to wonder if Biden did so much to give himself cover for the outrageous but expected pardon of his son.
