Thurs Blogcast: Sage Steele!; Prop 131 (Ranked Choice Vote) debate; Kamala

NOTE: Ballot measure discussions

I'm going to start spending a little time each show, beginning today, talking about ballot measures now that probably everyone reading this (in Colorado) has received a ballot (assuming you're a registered voter).

Just One Thing: Kamala Filibusters Fox

Kamala Harris sat down with Bret Baier of Fox News yesterday. He asked, or tried to ask through her rambling filibustering answers, very tough questions. Her responses were meaningless and she came across as angry just to be there. Bret asked her why she’s simultaneously saying that her campaign would represent turning the page and at the same time there’s nothing she would do differently from what Joe Biden did. On immigration, she repeatedly dodged the question about why her administration allowed millions of illegals into the US before then blaming Trump for telling Republicans to kill a bill 3 1/2 years later. She also dodged Bret’s question about the decline in Joe Biden’s cognition. Basically she turned every question into a complaint about Trump. I don’t know how much the interview actually hurt Harris but she missed a big chance to help herself with the many independent voters who watch Fox News.

Solid work from Andy "K File" Kaczynski on CNN and I appreciate his not only putting out anti-Republican news reports:

To the extent that companies really do make it unreasonably difficult to cancel, I don't hate this as much as I typically oppose gov't regulation. The story about canceling the gym membership is a good example of a behavior that at least borders on fraud, in my opinion. I think a LOT of Americans share this man's concerns. I don't think Trump addressed them adequately, but I also don't think there are any good answers for him.
