He came to the United States to go to college and is speaking out about the Chinese government. I'm talking to him at 2:30.
WELP, THAT WAS A WASTE OF TIME Kamala's Big Interview said absolutely nothing. Platitudes and nonsense and campaign slogans. She did not clear up ANYTHING when it came to her policies, she tried to say she hasn't changed ALL of her positions but she says her values are the same. WHAT VALUES??? What a waste of time.

Complete waste of time. She has no substance. She literally lied about what she said on the debate stage and at least Dana Bash called her about it. Even CNN's fact checker said she lied. Even liberal reporters had this to say:
NBC News correspondent Yamiche Alcindor also called out Harris' non-explanation for her policy shifts, writing "Harris keeps saying ‘my values haven’t changed’ while not explaining why her positions have changed."
Next she's going to say the new slogan for the campaign is Make America Great Again. She is a weightless hack. She did not say that she no longer believed that border crossing should NOT be decriminalized. God, she is awful. And Dana Bash gave such softball leading questions it was ridiculous.
ABOUT THE DNC BOUNCE So far it's not materializing, as Nate Silver's latest numbers are NOT good.
Of course the only poll that matters is on election day, just ask Hillary Clinton.
CAN'T ACTUALLY TEACH KIDS? JUST LOWER THE PASSING SCORE! This is literally what Colorado is thinking of doing after Covid math loss has turned into a disaster and bad scores may keep kids from graduating. Why not make sure kids can actually do math instead? I know, I know, it's crazy.
DANIELLE JURINSKY WAS RIGHT When she sounded the alarm about Venezuelan gangs taking over apartment complexes in Aurora, and now Mayor Mike Coffman is admitting it. He had this to say:
Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman acknowledged on Thursday that Venezuelan gangs have taken control of several apartment complexes in the northern part of the city in what he called “a nightmare situation.”
He also admitted that the city "lost control" of the gang infiltration "and we're working aggressively to get it back."
He went on to say that the national media giving the impression that Aurora has been taken over by gangs (which is NOT what Jurinsky said) is giving a "black eye" to the city which I think is why he didn't want to admit it in the first place. I'm sure Mr. Accountability Journalism Kyle Clark will lead Next tonight with an apology to Danielle Jurinsky for trying to make her seem crazy for sounding the alarm. That's how we Colorado, amiright? Even Mayor Mike talked tough about the gangs, but it's sort of like Opie talking tough when he does it. The Governor told the press that the problem shown clearly in the video below was a "feature of Danielle Jurinsky's imagination". It's startling how well Clark and Polis work together to try to paint a Republican woman as "crazy", isn't it? It's almost like they chat over lunch about it.

WE GOT A PROPERTY TAX COMPROMISE And it's good enough that the two ballot initiatives will be pulled by Advance Colorado. Read the details here, but I'm not sure when you will actually see relief.
BRONCOS ARE LAYING THE GROUNDWORK FOR A NEW STADIUM And if they want to pay for it, go for it. Read here about them announcing they were looking at sites other than Empower Field for a possible stadium. I just can't see them building another stadium where the current one sits so if Aurora can get it's gang problem under control this could be a great opportunity for them.
SOMEONE MADE AN UNPLEASANT STATEMENT AT COLFAX BUS STOPS And though I'm sure we'll never find out who actually did this because having the specter of "white nationalism" is much more useful to politicians than the truth. Someone hung signs at the bus stop that said "Blacks Must Sit In the Back of the Bus, Kamala's migrants up front". And yes, it's about race, but isn't it also a social commentary on the fact that illegal immigrants have been given a TON of free stuff while the poorer blacks in our community have been left to fend for themselves? That's not racist, that's factual. It was the subject of outrage in Chicago. I guess it's racist if an anonymous person says it, but not when black people show up at a meeting to say it.

ISRAEL SAYS THEY HAVE DISMANTLED HAMAS IN RAFAH And Rafah was the last stronghold though fighters have escaped and fled to areas being used to house displaced Palestinian citizens. They've also dismantled about 89% of the tunnels in Rafah, including the ones under the border with Egypt that have been used to smuggle weapons and people into and out of Israel. I would expect a cease fire agreement soon, as there are very few Hamas soldiers left to fight right now.
THE BAD BOYS OF ENERGY ARE BLOWING UP THE MYTH OF AFFORDABLE GREEN ENERGY You've got to read this story about two guys who spend their days investigating the actual economic and grid reliability impacts of green energy edicts from various governments.
