THREE COPS WHO DESERVE TO BE FIRED And they were just to be clear. Three probationary officers who graduated from the academy a hot minute ago have been cut loose after they were busted in a group chat joking about heading down to a migrant shelter for "target practice" and making other disparaging remarks. I get gallows humor, I really do, and I understand why first responders engage in it, but this not okay. They don't deserve to have the power of a gun in service to the state. Everyone else on the group chat has to undergo more Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training. How about "don't be an ahole" training instead?
