IS ANYONE ELSE EXHAUSTED FROM THE LAST TWO WEEKS? I can't remember a two week period where more incredibly important stuff has happened. Luckily today it's Friday and we've got stuff that isn't going to end the world to talk about.
I'M PUTTING SLOWJAMASTAN ON MY MUST VISIT LIST Have you heard of the micronation of Slowjamastan? If not, get ready to hear from the Sultan of Slowjamastan. Declared independent in 2021 when it seceded from the United States, The Republic of Slowjamastan is the world’s newest country, an 11-acre micronation located two hours east of San Diego where it is surrounded by Imperial County, California. In just over two years, Slowjamastan has attracted 19,000 registered citizens, more than two fully-recognized UN nations. Although none of these citizens reside inside its borders, they have been drawn to its quirky laws. These laws include the proper consumption of string cheese by pulling the strings and never chomping the stick, the ban of unnecessary "reply-all" emails, and the most famous statute of all: to wear or possess a pair of Crocs is strictly prohibited and punishable by law. WHAT IF YELLOWSTONE'S SUPER VOLCANO ERUPTS? If you haven't seen this crazy footage of a geothermal explosion this week in Yellowstone check it out.
And now we're talking about what happens if the supervolcano under Yellowstone blows and though we probably won't DIE, it will be super miserable for a long time if it does. That being said, geologists say there isn't imminent danger of an eruption. Not right now anyway.
RTD'S CHIEF IS BEING INVESTIGATED And we don't know why. This as RTD is trying to get safety and security back on buses and trains. When asked why Joel Fitzgerald, Sr. was on leave RTD pretty much told the media to go pound sand. I get that personnel issues are private but when the top dog is in trouble it seems that we should have SOME idea of what's going on. Apparently they are investigating "policy violations" which could be anything.
BUT NOT RTD HAS CAMERAS ON BUSES AND TRAINS That can be monitored in real time to help stop the all-too-often attacks that have most of us not taking the train or buses. We'll see if this helps get rid of the criminal element that has taken over the trains.
THE US MARINE CORPS MEMORIAL HAS BEEN VANDALIZED BY PRO TERRORIST FACTIONS And of course they are Pro Hamas idiots who thought spray painting Free Gaza on a memorial dedicated to the men and women who served to fight the very sort of people they support. I meant to post this video the other day because I think it shows EXACTLY what kind of people are on the other side. This was shot in the West Bank.
My favorite part is when they say they don't have gay people there. Good thing Kamala skipped the PM of Israel so no one knows how she really feels about Israel.

TAY ANDERSON RUINS PUBLIC COMMENT IN AURORA Now that he can't grift as a school board member you knew it wouldn't be long before TayTay Anderson would find a new way to get in front of a microphone. He's done it by disrupting Aurora City Council meetings over the death of a man shot when SWAT was trying to arrest him for attempted murder. The man grabbed his phone, cops thought he was grabbing a gun and they shot him. Now the family wants an apology and more and they are going to disrupt the city council for the time being. Mayor Mike Coffman announced new rules on public comment because of it.
WHY IS IT OFFENSIVE TO POINT OUT KAMALA HARRIS WAS A DEI HIRE? That is the question asked by this column and though I find those attacks unhelpful to Republicans winning, they are not inaccurate. Just because something is true doesn't mean you have to point it out is what I'm saying. Read the column to understand why Democrats can't have it both ways when it comes to DEI. It's either a good things, as pointed out by Kamala Harris in October of 2021:
Or it's inherently racist to use immutable characteristic as a means of judging someone's fitness for a job. Let's not forget, Joe Biden made it a DEI hire himself.

Again, calling her a DEI hire is not going to win over voters in the middle, even if it is accurate. So let's be done with this now.
THE MINISTRY OF TRUTH IS JUST GETTING STARTED As the media continues to run cover for Kamala's worst moments by simply denying they ever happened. This is a great example of a CBS station that "fact checked" Trump's statement that Kamala Harris donated to the Minnesota Freedom Fund that paid bail for rioters, some of whom went on to commit other horrible crimes. Except the internet is forever and it brought the receipts the she most certainly did do this thing. Do you think newsrooms like this one don't have the internet?
THE MEDIA IS SCOOPING UP THE BORDER CZAR TALKING POINTS Watch this exchange with Peter Doocy and KJP at a press conference where he showed the card being circulated by the media telling them VP Harris was NOT the border czar when she clearly WAS named the border czar.
It is fully 1984 time and they aren't even hiding it anymore. How can the media go along with this? Nevermind, they care about their team winning more than doing a good job.
WHY DID CHRISTOPHER WRAY ADD FUEL TO THE LEFT WING CONSPIRACY? I do not like Christopher Wray. I fully expect Trump to fire him first if he's re elected. Especially after he said in a Congressional hearing the following:
We literally have a photo that shows the vapor trail of the bullet behind his head after hitting and then continuing on to shoot someone standing behind him. This is just to add fuel to the left wing narrative that Trump didn't actually get shot, as if that makes any of this any better. The man survived an assassination attempt. The Left can't stand that it failed but they want to downplay it as much as possible just in case. Read more here.

WE ARE SPENDING LESS ON FOOD RIGHT NOW As consumer are grappling with persistently high prices they are being choosier about what they spend their money on and brand names are suffering. Profits and sales are down in many sectors and companies are taking notice. We'll see if price adjustments follow.
MUSIC MAY KEEP OUR BRAINS YOUNG And if this study is accurate Dave the Intrepid's brain is never going to age. Music makes such an indelible mark on our brains that we are able to recall certain musical themes no matter how old we are. Researchers say that engaging with music may be the key to keeping our brains young.
Y'ALL WEAR A STUPID LIFE VEST Because we are on our way to having a record number of water deaths this year in Colorado. For a landlocked state this is ridiculous. Most of the people who drowned did so while falling off a tube or paddleboard without a life vest on. I know if feels dorky to wear one, but it probably feels better than drowning to death.
WHAT'S COOKING AT CHEYENNE FRONTIER DAYS? I LOVE fair food, the weirder the better, but the Fruity Pebbles Pineapple Shrimp genuinely sounds disgusting. I'd still try it though. Have you guys tried any of these?
