Now he's not so excited as the specter of a gas spike in May is looming. NOW he's writing letters to the EPA begging them to lift the rules that judge us for ozone that is mostly NOT OUR FAULT. This is why I find this editorial from the Denver Gazette so annoying. Unlike other Democrat governors before him he didn't ask for a waiver when we were downgraded initially. He WELCOMED it. He wanted us all to buy electric cars remember. Now the chickens have come home to roost and there is no doubt that our local media will give the Governor cover when he cries crocodile tears now. I don't expect any of them to confront him with the statements he made in 2019 that Jake has made so convenient to find. When you choke on gas prices you have Jared Polis to blame. Period.

JEWISH STUDENTS FILE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST COLUMBIA And I read it last night and I think it has merit. Columbia, who gave a deadline to protesters and then ignored it, is letting its many, many Jewish students down by creating a second class of students of which they are forced to be a part. NORTHGLENN TO FILE AN ETHICS COMPLAINT AGAINST FAITH WINTERS I think Faith Winters is a terrible Legislator. She's wrong on every policy and generally speaking any bill with her name on it is a bad bill. That being said, I wish her a solid recovery from the alcoholism that has led to an ethics complaint against her by the Northglenn City Council after Winters showed up to a community meeting drunk. I hope this public humiliation is enough to keep her sober. Maybe she'll come up with better bills.

Caring for the new arrivals comes at a time when the hospital system was already struggling under the weight of treating the homeless and uninsured. The hospital provided $140 million in care last year, for which it was either not reimbursed or only received a fraction of the cost from government programs.
