UPDATE: My hit on Fox News this morning
Some folks have asked for the link...I talked for a few minutes about Comrade Candi:
Denver Democrat pushes taxing 'White-led businesses' | Fox News Video
Just One Thing: Let's Defeat Comrade Candi
No, she's NOT being taken out of context: Candi CdeBaca says her comments about taxing white-owned businesses were taken out of context (msn.com)
By the way, folks, stay away from verbal attacks on someone's family and other things that have nothing to do with politics when criticizing a politician. Especially if the critic is on the right, the media will make the story about the critics rather than the bad politician. And more importantly, it's just a bad way to behave. And, obviously, avoid making actual threats. Shouldn't need to be said but I guess it does
----
It’s hard to understand why Denver voters would have voted Candi CdeBaca on to the city council. She’s an idiot, a committed communist, and a racist. And I suppose some of the voters in every district would be described by one or two of those adjectives but very few folks hit the should-never-hold-public-office trifecta like Comrade Candi does. A gentleman named Darrell Watson is facing off against CdeBaca in a runoff election next month. I’ve never seen this before, but Watson has endorsements from multiple sitting members of the City Council that CdeBaca serves on, as well as multiple past presidents of the council. Yes, Mr. Watson is far to my left. But he doesn’t seem like a lunatic. Let’s all do what we can to help boot Comrade Candi out of office.
Darrell Watson for Denver City Council District 9
In case you missed it, Candi's bright idea is to tax all businesses in Denver owned by white people and give the money to business owners who aren't white. And this isn't some conservative hidden camera. This was at a public event and Comrade Candi has proudly posted this on her own social media...
One More Thing: Let the Games Begin!
Today, President Biden and Speaker McCarthy will meet to begin discussing the debt limit, which the nation will soon reach (again.) McCarthy and Republicans have stated they will only agree to allow more debt if Democrats agree to spending cuts. Biden has said he will not negotiate. But he has to. This could get ugly, I kinda hope it does.

BTW, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and the two leaders in the Senate, Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will be there but most of the action will be between the president and the speaker.

Today's Guest
As noted above, Darrell Watson is challenging incumbent Candi CdeBaca to represent Denver's District 9 on the City Council. Looking forward to my conversation with Mr. Watson. Really, all I need to support him for him not to be insane.
