Just One Thing: I hate to say I told you so, but...
Yesterday when talking about the welcome but perhaps overdue (it's a harder question than it seems to a free-market capitalist) cuts in insulin prices by pharma giant Eli Lilly, my prediction on the show was that it will cause folks on the left to wonder aloud and, in the Senate perhaps call for hearings (because I doubt House Republicans would go along with such calls), about whether Lilly was "price gouging" for years on this product.
I'm sure this isn't the first instance of what I predicted but it's the first that I've seen so far: Commentary: Eli Lilly's insulin price cut is a gut punch to people with diabetes (ktla.com)
(Today's blogcast thumbnail picture is an insulin production line at a Novo Nordisk factory.)

And below, the "creator's" new poster. I don't mean god, I mean the dude who used AI to make the imagines, which is why I put "creator" in quotes. Who exactly is the creator in this situation? (This ties into the story I shared some days ago about copyrighting a comic book with images made by AI.)
Thinking my favorite might be Herbert Hoover but that's possibly because he reminds me of Meat Loaf (RIP).
