The San Francisco 49ers found out the hard way that there is still a whole lotta D in Denver.

Sunday night, the Denver Broncos defense stifled the 49ers offense and led the way to an 11-10 win.

The Broncos gave up only 267 yards of total offense, forced three turnovers, held the 49ers to 10 points and produced a safety in the second half that brought Denver to within 7-5.

The Broncos offense was another story, sputtering to 261 total yards and putting up only one touchdown and one 55-yard field goal by kicker Brandon McManus.

But that offense came up with one big drive that eventually decided the game.

In the fourth quarter, Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson engineered a 12-play, 80-yard drive that took 6:04. Melvin Gordon capped it with a one-yard touchdown run with 4:13 remaining.

That was all the Broncos would need to pick up their second straight win.

In three games so far this season, the Broncos have scored 43 points and allowed only 36.
