Former Broncos DL Derek Wolfe Retires

The body just could not take any more.

After ten seasons in the NFL, former Denver Broncos defensive lineman Derek Wolfe retired on Friday.

Wolfe spent the first eight years of his career in Denver. The Broncos selected him out of the University of Cincinnati in the second round (36th overall) of the 2012 draft.

Wolfe played for the Broncos from 2012-2019. He was a member of the Broncos 2015 Super Bowl 50 championship team.

He was with the Baltimore Ravens in 2020 before sitting out the 2021 season with injuries.

Wolfe closes his career having played in 122 games and recording 350 tackles, 52 tackles for loss and 34 sacks.
