It is officially go-time for the Denver Broncos.
Training camp begins today (Wednesday, July 27) and new quarterback Russell Wilson is ready to go.
"I feel like it's my rookie year all over again," Wilson told KOA. He was on Colorado's Morning News and said even though he has been in the NFL for 10 years, every season is special.
Wilson said after a pre-draft visit with the Broncos back in 2012, he set a number of football, legacy and life goals.
"One of them in terms of football was treat every day as if it's the first day," Wilson said.
The Broncos acquired Wilson in an offseason trade with the Seattle Seahawks.
Wilson and the Broncos are excited to get on the field under first-year head coach Nathaniel Hackett, who will experience his first day of camp as an NFL head coach.
