He has done it again.

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has been voted the NBL Most Valuable Player for the second straight season, according to a report by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowksi.

The formal announcement should be forthcoming this week.

Jokic averaged a career-high 27.1 points and 13.8 rebounds per game, along with 7.9 assists.

He also became the first player in NBA history with 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 500 assists in a season.

Jokic is the 13th player in league history to win the award in back-to-back seasons, joining Giannis Antetokounmpo, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Moses Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlin and Bill Russell.
