Baseball is back.

Thursday, Major League Baseball and the Major League Players Association reached an agreement on a collective bargaining agreement, ending the 99-day lockout.

While the union executive board voted against accepting the new deal, teams voted 26-4 to accept it.

Spring Training games are likely to start in the March 18-20 time frame. Opening Day will be on April 7 and there will be a full 162-game regular season.

In order to makeup the games that were originally canceled, the season will be extended by three days and there will likely be some nine-inning doubleheaders as well.

The postseason is expected to expand to 12 teams.

Teams should be able to sign free agents and make trades and other moves as early as Thursday night.
