That's the way to close out the regular season.
The Colorado Buffaloes had little trouble with the Utah Utes and picked up a big road win, 84-71, Saturday night in Salt Lake City.
The Buffs led from the start and never let up. And they can thank senior forward Evan Battey for that.
Battey dropped in a career-high 27 points, hit a career-best six three-pointers (in nine attempts) and hauled down six rebounds.
The Buffs bolted out to a 28-10 lead in the first 9:46 of the game and buried Utah.
CU was up 50-29 at halftime and by then, the game was decided.
Along with Battey's big night, forward Jabari Walker picked up another double-double with 22 points and 12 boards.
Colorado is now 20-10, the fourth consecutive season with at least 20 victories.
Colorado will now head to Las Vegas for the Pac-12 Tournament next week. The Buffs are the fourth seed and will open action on Thursday, March 10 at 3:30 p.m. MST against the winner of the Oregon-Oregon St. game, which will be played on Wednesday.
