They almost let it get away.
But the Colorado Buffaloes found a way to pull off a thrilling 86-83, double overtime upset win over the Oregon Ducks on Wednesday night at the CU Events Center.
The Buffs led 55-41 with 8:12 remaining in the game. The Ducks closed regulation on a 31-17 run to force overtime. Endyia Rogers hit two free throws with 14 second to go to tie the game.
After each team scored eight points in the first overtime, the Buffs started the second overtime with layups from Peanut Tuitele and Quay Miller to take an 84-80 lead which they would never give up.
Jaylyn Sherrod's two free throws with under a second left sealed the dramatic win.
Sherrod was one of five Buffs in double figures and led the way with 17 points, eight assists and four rebounds. Mya Hollingshed had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Lesila Finau chipped in 15 points.
The Buffs are now 19-7, 8-7 in the Pac-12. Oregon stands at 18-10, 9-6.
