Morris' Buzzer-Beater Gives Nuggets A Wild Win Over Warriors, 117-116

When Nikola Jokic has the ball with the game on the line, one usually figures Jokic will try to win it himself.

Jokic flipped the script on the Golden State Warriors and Monte Morris made it look like a brilliant decision.

Morris' buzzer-beating three-pointer gave the Nuggets a wild 117-116 win over the Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco on Wednesday night.

Jokic drove into the lane, passed right to Morris, who drilled the long distance shot from the right wing to send the Nuggets into the All-Star break with a 33-25 record.

Morris' game-winning shot capped a big fourth quarter for the Nuggets, who trailed 86-78 after three quarters.

They were down 111-103 with just over three minutes to go and down 113-106 with 2:29 remaining.

But an 8-0 run gave the Nuggets a 114-113 advantage after Morris hit a shot with 14.9 seconds left.

Stephen Curry responded with a jumper to give the Warriors the lead at 115-114 with 5.9 seconds to go.

That set the stage for Jokic and Morris.

Jokic had 35 points, 17 rebounds and eight assists. Morris, coming out of concussion protocol, had 13 points, six assists and four rebounds. Bryn Forbes scored 22 points on 8-12 from the field and 4-7 from three-point range.
