The Denver Nuggets got hot from downtown on Sunday night.
And the Milwaukee Bucks learned firsthand how rough that can be.
The Nuggets hit 23-of-43 (53.5%) from three-point range in a 136-100 win over the Bucks to secure a split of the regular season series.
Aaron Gordon led the Nuggets with 24 points and was 4-8 from long distance. Monte Morris hit 4-5 threes en route to 18 points. He added seven assists.
Center Nikola Jokic played only 28 minutes but fell just short of another triple-double. He had 18 points, nine rebounds and 15 assists.
The Nuggets led 65-57 at halftime before blowing the game open in the second half. They outscored the Bucks 71-43 in the final two quarters.
The Nuggets are 4-0 on their current six-game road trip and they have won seven of their last nine games.
Up next is a game at Minnesota on Tuesday, February 1 at 6 p.m. MST.
