THE BOOK OF QUESTIONS HAS BEEN HIGHLY CONTROVERSIAL LATELY And we'll see where the big wheel lands today at 2.

IF YOU'VE GOT A KID IN A DENVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS CHARTER YOU BETTER PAY ATTENTION Because Denver Public Schools, which is now completely controlled by the teachers unions, is going after charter renewals. They are trying to shorten the length of time between renewals and be able to pull a charter if enrollment drops below a now undefined number. THEY HATE CHARTERS. You know why? Because the unions can't control them. The new board indicated its animous at a recent work session where they discussed the ways to destroy parental choice in DPS. My favorite part is when Tay Tay showed concern about quick closures, not because of the havoc they would wreak, but BECAUSE IT WOULD MAKE THE BOARD LOOK BAD. Read all the crap here.

THIS AS DPS SCHOOLS LOOK TO RESEGREGATE THEMSELVES All in the name of equity! What does equity in an elementary school look like? Segregated playground nights, of course!

I'm sure Tay Tay loves this and thinks it makes the board look good. Too bad for the white kids who told they aren't special enough to come to playground night at their school. That'll show systemic racism!

CRIME IS UP DRAMATICALLY BECAUSE OF GEORGE SOROS BACKED DISTRICT ATTORNEYS From Chesa Boudin in San Fran to John Chisholm in Milwaukee, billionaire George Soros has been funding campaigns of extremely anti-enforcement progressive DAs for years. Now someone did an analysis of just how crime rates are going in those cities and it's not good. It's very, very bad. It found that while murder rose 30% between 2019 and 2020, it went dramatically higher in the cities where Soros bought the DA. Check this out:

• Under its Soros DA, Jackson, Miss., saw a 53.7% spike in murders from 2019 to 2020, when it notched a record 128 homicides. In 2021, the city’s murder record has already been broken, with Jackson on course to log 141 murders by year’s end.
• Milwaukee, the metro area which includes Waukesha, saw a jaw-dropping 94% rise in murders from 2019 to 2020, when it posted a record 190. The bad news continues in 2021, which has already set another new record with 200 murders, and that’s before the final December report.
• Metro Orlando got hammered with a 39% increase from 2019 to 2020.
• Phoenix saw a 44% rise from 2019 to 2020. 
• St. Louis, already burdened with the nation’s highest murder rate, suffered an additional 35% rise from 2019 to 2020.
• Hyper-violent Shreveport, La., witnessed a 78.4% increase for the 2019-2020 period.
• Los Angeles, with its super-woke DA, George Gascón, is on track to see murders rise 51.2% from 2019 through 2021.
• Liberal-hip Austin, having elected Soros-backed DA Jose Garza only a year ago, is now on pace to close 2021 with a record 89 homicides – a staggering 85.4% increase over 2020.
• Albuquerque, N.M.’s murder rate is on course, through the close of 2021, to register an 89% increase since 2018, when its Soros DA, Raul Torrez, took office. 
• Baltimore, America’s second-most deadly city, experienced a horrific 63% increase in murders in 2016, the year after Soros-supported DA Marilyn Mosby took command. It has stayed at that deadly level ever since and will likely close out 2021 with 346 murders.
• Under super-progressive, Soros-backed DA Chesa Boudin, San Francisco is projected to end 2021 with 57 murders – a 39% increase since 2019. In addition, a wave of smash-and-grab mass robberies has shaken the city to its liberal core and unraveled any conventional notion of civil order. One could argue that Boudin’s brief tenure has done more to undermine San Francisco’s once-thriving brick-and-mortar retail sector than Amazon and the Internet itself.

AND THEN THERE WERE NONE IN TRI COUNTY Yesterday the final nail was pounded into Tri-County Health when Arapahoe County voted to leave the agency. This means all three in the Tri are gone. Arapahoe will start its own agency, but for some reason they are forcing their residents to remain under the nonsensical mask mandate anyway. Just checking the latest covid outbreak numbers between Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas counties:

Why are you people in Adams and Arapahoe wearing masks again?

KRAFT IS PAYING PEOPLE NOT TO MAKE CHEESECAKE Because they can't keep up with demand when it comes to cream cheese. They are turning a negative into a positive by setting up a website where people can sign up to be PAID to buy a different dessert. I'm not making this up. There is a schmear shortage in NYC because of it. Read more here.

AURORA'S ANTI COP STANCE IS GOING TO COST THEM RETENTION BONUSES And not every member of the Aurora City Council is anti-cop, just enough of them to make a difference. Now Mayor Mike Coffman is proposing the city tap into its covid relief funds to give bonuses to cops to stop the mass exodus that has happened in Aurora. Crime is WAY up and the police force is woefully understaffed and cops are quitting or retiring at a rapid pace. The bonuses would be $8000 in total, paid out in April and October of next year. Many of the new Aurora City Council members signed the letter along with the Mayor to support the police. I am not sure exactly why Crystal Murillo, Ruben Medina, Juan Marcano, and Alison Coombs didn't sign on, but based on prior comments and actions I'm going to assume it's because they hate cops more than they love protecting the citizens who live in Aurora. Just a guess though. We'll see how they vote on the final measure.

JON CALDARA DOESN'T BELIEVE IN GHOST...GUNS He is 100% right about the latest anti-gun nonsense in Denver. The City Council, which hasn't done much about homelessness or crime, is going after the spectre of so-called "ghost guns" which isn't really a thing. They want to outlaw the building of a gun. This is an actual hobby that gun enthusiasts have that the anti-gun city council members don't understand. Jon gives them hell here.

I was walking my dog listening to your show and you mentioned your favorite classic car was a 1934 Duesenberg – that tickled me! My maiden name is Duesenberg and Fred and Augie Duesenberg were my great uncles. 

In 1972, I was the “festival hostess” at the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Festival hostess in Auburn, Indiana. My first ride in a Duesenberg automobile was originally owned by Greta Garbo and spent the war years under a haystack outside of Paris. It was auctioned off at the festival for $90,000+, at that time the highest ever paid for an auctioned car!

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. -- Greta Garbo's 1933 Duesenberg -- complete with the starlet's makeup credenza -- could be driven away for $2 million by a buyer willing to plunk down the money at an auction to benefit a local museum.New York philanthropist Charles Wood donated the Duesenberg to the Hyde Collection museum in Glens Falls, N.Y. The car will be auctioned off at the 'Over the Rainbow' gala at Wood's Great Escape amusement park in Lake George. 

The car, custom-made for Garbo in Paris, recently was refurbished for $125,000, and is now 'worth $2 million,' auctioneer Dean Kruse said.

The Duesenberg is rumored to have eight hidden compartments where the Hollywood starlet stashed her gems. It also is equipped with a drop-down makeup credenza with mirrors.

When Wood purchased the antique auto in 1972 for $90,000, he said the glamorous actress remarked, 'I don't know why anybody would pay that kind of money. It gets terrible gas mileage.'

NO, WOMEN ARE NOT SUPPORTIVE OF A NEW TRANSWOMAN SWIMMER Because they know they can't beat her. Why? Well, she was a man until A YEAR AGO and still has the same muscle mass and skeletal frame so physically she retains a significant advantage over women without male structures underneath. She now holds a bunch of records that will probably not be broken until another guy decides to transition and compete unfairly against women. From the Washington Times story:

As a male freestyler, the swimmer formerly known as Will Thomas earned second team All-Ivy League honors in 2018-19.Thomas began transitioning to female as a junior during the 2019-20 academic year, calling it a “very awkward phase.”

“I continued to train and then competed as much as I felt comfortable, but being in the early stages of transition, it was a very awkward experience of basically being a woman competing in a men’s meet,”Thomas said. “It was uncomfortable. And so I didn’t compete that much.”

Thomas took the next year off during the novel coronavirus pandemic, then jumped to the women’s team this year following hormone-replace therapy and testosterone suppression.

“Continuing to swim after transitioning has been an incredibly rewarding experience as I can continue to do the sport I love as my authentic self,”Thomas said.

She now holds Penn’s all-time women’s records in the 200 and 500 freestyle. At the Zippy Invitational held Dec. 6-8 at the University of Akron,sheset a program, meet and pool record in the 1,650 freestyle, defeating teammate and second-place finisher Anna Kalandadze by a whopping 38 seconds.

If she can get back to Will's times she will smash NCAA records for women's swimming. We'll see if she can pull that off or simply beat the women without underlying male structures by 38 seconds instead. Her teammates spoke to Outkick anonymously and they are NOT happy about this AT ALL.

TWITTER IS PUNISHING PEOPLE WHO TWEET THE TRUTH ABOUT VACCINATED PEOPLE SPREADING COVID First off, there is NO DOUBT that if you are vaccinated and get covid you spread the virus through shedding and can give it to someone else. The CDC clearly says that on their website. The good news is that period of contagiousness is shorter in the vaccinated than the unvaxxed, but it still exists. Just don't say that on Twitter, where you could face a potential ban for spreading false information even though it's clearly not false. Way to go, Twitter!
