The CSU Rams keep finding ways to win.
A 14-6 second half run did the trick on Saturday as CSU beat Mississippi St., 66-63, at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Fort Worth, Texas.
Colorado St. trailed 51-44 with 8:20 left.
Dischon Thomas' dunk three minutes and 39 seconds later put the Rams up 58-57 at the 4:41 mark.
After Mississippi St. answered with a layup to take a 59-58 lead, CSU scored eight consecutive points and led 66-59 on Kendall Moore's three-pointer with 2:23 remaining.
David Roddy led the Rams with 19 points on 8-11 from the field. He grabbed seven rebounds. Moore added 13 points and was 2-4 from three-point range.
CSU is 10-0, good for the second-best start in program history behind the 2014-2015 team that began the year 14-0.
CSU takes on Tulsa in the Hoop Hype XL College Basketball Showcase, also in Fort Worth, on Saturday, December 18 at 2:30 p.m. MST.
