For this week, Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur is passing the play-calling baton to quarterbacks coach Mike Shula.

With Shurmur in COVID-19 protocols, Shula will assume play-calling duties when the Broncos host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

The Broncos have said that other offensive assistant coaches will have input.

The Broncos are coming off their best game of the season, a 3016 road rout of the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday. The 30 points scored were a season-high for the Broncos and they rushed for 190 yards while piling up 407 yards of total offense.

Shula has served as offensive coordinator of the Buccaneers, Panthers and Giants during his 30 years NFL coaching career.
