A two year long investigation has led to the take down of a major drug trafficking operation in Colorado.
30 people have been incited including Candelaria Vallejo-Gallo who is facing federal drug kingpin charges.
Authorities seized 400 pounds of meth, 15,000 fentanyl pills, 5 pounds of heroin and 4 pounds of cocaine. Weapons were also seized along with large amounts of cash.
U.S. Attorney Jason Dunn says the fentanyl pills were disguised to look like prescription oxycodone. If used by street addicts, those pills could have caused overdoses and death.
24 of the 30 indicted defendants are in custody. Canelaria Vallejo-Gallo was arrested at a home in Aurora.
