Colorado's senators are reacting to the news of the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He was killed in a raid announced by President Trump yesterday. Republican Senator Cory Gardner says it's a step toward defeating ISIS and gave thanks to the U.S. intelligence community and brave service members. Democrat Senator Michael Bennet tweeted yesterday that while it isn't the end of U.S. efforts, it does mark a significant milestone in the fight against ISIS.
