BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. --The base Exchange will embark on a renovation project starting October 7, 2019 which encompasses 21 phases.
The updates to the building will include a lighting change to more energy efficient LEDs, carpeting replacement in the clothing section, new fixtures in the cosmetics department, and better seating arrangements in the food court to include booths. The management of the exchange promises to keep its doors open for business as to not effect customers’ shopping during this long process.
The first phase of this overhaul will include the main store’s Power Zone and the restrooms located next to the dry cleaners. Nonetheless, shoppers will still have a place to tend to their needs. There will be temporary restroom facilities located outside of the building near the food court.
The Exchange general manager, Cindy Cantu, kindly asks the consumers who visit us on base to “Please pardon our dust while we make improvements to serve you better.”
All renovations to the exchange are expected to be complete by March of 2020. As they strive to provide a better service and ambiance to those who serve and have served, Cantu, implores all shoppers to “Check in every week to see how we are coming along.”
